Went on the friday and was quiet but we did get there early about 7pm, very expensive for drinks, it was abosulute mental on Saturday with drunkin Scots celebrating there victory over the Ukraine, they did get anoyed though when England won the Rugby!!!! Not bad but not really worth the hype.

We were in Edinburgh for only one night and managed two pubs in that time. The 3 sisters was by far the better of the two. Great crowd, good beer and a fantastic atmosphere. The '80s music was top notch, but the robotic dancing was a bit OTT.
We'll be back!

THis has to be one of the WORST bars in Edinburgh in the evening, principally for the following reasons:
1: They let WAY too many people in (they must be well over their allowed capacity);
2: Don't worry if you're only 16 - by the time you get served at the bar you'll easily be 18;
3: Broken glass / bottles / general crap EVERYWHERE;
4: Has the ambience of a wet haddock.
It's mobbed at the weekends, so they must be doing something right - I just have no idea what (and neither do they, probably!)
Note to the staff: customer service is a GOOD thing, not a bad one...

We were at a Hen party at the weeked and stayed in the Three Sisters, the craic was great and the staff were really friendly.

Went to edinburgh last month and were advised to go here by friends. Loved it so much we've just booked flights to go back next month and cant wait to go back to this pub! If you like a good laugh, dancing to some good and some cheesy eighties music and meeting loads of people from stags and hens this is the place to be! The bouncers will give you a dance if your nice to them too :)

This was the first pub we came to when we arrived in edinburgh and definately was the best, everyone is just up for a laugh and they play great music so you can have a good dance!!Plenty of hens and stags parties so wouldnt be going there for a quiet drink. I Would highly recommend a trip to the 3 sisters for anyone visiting edinburgh, you'll be guaranteed a great night!

awful service, If you are not wasted avoid at all costs. The bar staff seem to be trained to only serve the the customers that are are so drunk they can't even speak.

was there during hogmanay, loved it so much didnt even care that the festival was cancelled and stayed an xtra week in edinburgh. Met some awesome people here. the staff were great value.i think they prefer a smile to a glare. Its awesome unpretentious fun and i think all the prudes should get the poles out of their a...s. It is true the toliets are terrible but so r most public toliets at large venues. Great place to dance to a few classics and see a bit of unexpected talent.

This pub always provides a great start to the night!the music is great and you can sing and dance along to it. Wouldn't stay here all night but its a good way to start the evening!!!

This bar is a great size and the staff seem fine, problem is they let way too many people in here. As a result it's always a major crush on a weekend/friday night, broken glass all over the floor (which nobody is in any hurry to clear), you get shoved in all directions by the mass of people, you can't stand still and drink without being pushed over...the list goes on. And as for seats- forget it! I've been lots of times and hated every one of them. I also failed to get the Irish thing, there's more irish in a glass of baileys! Drinks are pretty reasonable though on the plus side.

Fabulous for a burger over lunchtime, on an evening turns into a gathering of multinational people, generally dressed up for hen and stag do's, rugby types etc... Brilliant night out, very friendly, and one for the girls, they have GHD straighteners in the toilets - brilliant idea.
Good mix of music, always know the words, so lts of singing to behold.
Highly recommended!!!

Its a toilet , guarded by knobhead bouncers - inside crap music at nosebleed volumes , dirty glasses and tables and the toilets are disgusting .
Students and screeching hen nights/stag nights a speciality . Give this one a miss...

Always has a good atmosphere, good music & some talent, BUT... usually mobbed with tacky, annoying hen dos; bar staff are very slow; tables are never clean; & toilets are really, really manky. And avoid this bar at all costs during the 6 Nations!

This pub is good. As i am a tax dodging student, they place is so fun. Paddys night is amazing there all the Irish in Edinburgh flee here and it is one massive party. When rugby and football is on its packed and has a good atmosphere. Pub quiz is fun too.

a) Have a love for arrogant bouncers

...unless your idea of fun is to be surrounded by sweaty, smelly, ugly, undereducated students with attitude problems then avoid at all costs. Drinks are cheap if you can get one. Noisy, unsophisticated... there really is no excuse for this level of shoddiness. You'll be lucky to find a tap working or even a loo seat... BUT, and this is a very big 'but' at least you know all the undesirables are in one place so you are free to enjoy the rest of your evening elsewhere. Enjoy!

I loved this pub when I was there. It was when the australia vs scotland rugby match was on and the atmosphere was amazing. I had been to a few different pubs while the match was on and none compared to the three sisters. I have been told by friends that the atmosphere is always like that. it also had great music and good bar service. good stuff :)

The Three Sisters is a favourite pub of the Scottish Lads, its always busy from late afternoon and theres never any bother. If theres rugby or football on TV then its packed all day
