Really good autentic Rock n roll, Rockabilly club once a month with the very best bands and djs around. you cant get better even in London. They have also got very reasonable bar prices.

We were staying in a hotel near this bar for nearly a week and were in here every day the entire time, even more than once a day some days. Young Pete and "old" Pete were both excellent guys, should we ever be out that way again, The Spiders Web would be our first stop, to visit our old friends. Even to see a patron of the bar, Jock, the old salt. We still owe them some good ol' fashioned Vegas memorabilia and will get that to them asap. If you guys at Spiders Web read this....Stevie and his girls from Vegas say Hello and we'll see ya soon!

I've only been here a few times and on most occasions I've been the only female in amongst a load of grey-haired men. But nonetheless I feel at home. The staff are very friendly, especially young Pete, and the drink is great value. The only two drawbacks are the outdated jukebox and plethora of Beatles memorabilia. The room downstairs often hosts punk gigs - any pub that does that gets 10/10 in my book.
