We waited 1 hour for some burgers and chips. When the food came it was very average.
I would not go here again.
Bar staff were firendly but didn't seem to know what they were doing!

Have been going to this boozer most Fridays after work for about 5 years. Bar staff are great and prices by anywheres standards let alone the West Ends are brilliant.

During my study abroad year (03) my flat mates and I would go here all the time. Great bar staff, incredible atmosphere and cheap CHEAP drinks. I'm coming back to Edinburgh soon and you'd better believe that I'm going to swing by here at least twice.

I love this pub. One of the cheapest in the West End.They recently have added 2 large screens for sports(Great atmosphere for the rugby).Food is good and reasonably priced.It's a happy pub and the staff are very welcoming.If you want a good evenings atmosphere, then visit Scruffy Murphy's.

Scruffy's is a good little pub and there food menu is value for money. They have also installed (recently)
two new plazma screens with another one on the way which compliments there
SKY coverage of the main sporting events.
The also have a fixed promotion in place for selected lager and spirits.
The only criticisims i have for this bar is the access to the toilets which
consists of a narrow and steep staircase where customers who are infirm or drunk will have a problem with.
I found the staff to be colourful characters and enjoyed speaking to there regulars but found they can sometimes be slow on the service.
