The Roast Beef dish special they were serving was the best food I had while I was there. The bar staff was very freindly and there was even a free drink with the meal. They also had a high quality TV (easy to see) with sports on whlie you were eating.

You get the feeling that this bar is not quite right. For starters the name - "Logie Baird" pioneer of the TV was from Glasgow - surely a better choice would be Edinburgh born, pioneer of the telephone, Alexander Graham Bell? Maybe the sign would be too big :-) Anyway, you get the impression from this badly laid out and expensive pub that its only there to cater for the tourist market - which it gets in droves from its great central location.
