Not actually a bad establishment with friendly staff and a rather good selection of coffee's and cake's. Good for luncheons too. Best entertainment though comes from other patron's snobbishness! It's just so OTT it's funny! "Artsy" was used in another review but I think that's just being polite.

Pretty good selection of beers, but it can be pricey. Seems to attract single mums and social worker types. This place is like the moon it has no atmosphere at all. Food is alright - a good veggie selection.

A grand wee place for a bite to eat and a beer before a film. Food is decent, though cafe/pub style, rather than big meal, which is fine. The beer tastes like beer (nothing bad, nothing special). The staff are friendly. The place is usually pretty busy, though some folk may find the clientele a bit arty (well it is the Filmhouse Cinema afterall).

Great for coffee or something stronger. This buzzy place also serves up great food at affordable prices with lots of veggie options. Friendly service, lively ambience but never too busy or noisy. Not just for a quick dram before a film.
