I'm afraid this is a really, really bleak excuse for a bar, situated in Wavereley Station.

Firstly, there is the price of drink, which is very high as is always the case with any bar located in a station.

The staff are friendly enough (and I don't envy them working there), but the kind of customers you get are genuinely terrifying. The jetsam and flotsam of Edinburgh seem to find their way into Coopers.

The toilets are truly a disgrace. Avoid this bar like rickets (which you'd probably catch drinking in there) and, if you're waiting on a train, walk the 30 seconds out of the station to the Malt Shovel or Doric situated just outside.

Coopers is a nice place to start a nice nigth out on the town... locaten in Waverly station, it's ideal place to meet your friends and decide where to go next. Unfortunatly the toilets are a mess, other and the only drawback is the price. Usually there are some nice Spanish or Polish girls behind the bar, so there is something to focus on, while waiting for your friends :D
